须田一政

Issei Suda was a Japanese photographer who graduated from the Tokyo College of Photography in 1962. He worked as a stage photographer and documentarist for the theatrical group “Tenjo Sajiki” directed by Terayama Shuji from 1967 to 1970 and became a freelance photographer in 1971. He was awarded the Ken Domon Award in 1996. His work has been exhibited in numerous museum exhibitions worldwide, including “Self/Other” at the National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo (2008) and “The History of Japanese Photography” at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (2003). Suda was also a professor at Osaka University of Arts in Osaka, Japan.
